Hi, I’m Danae

I identify as a playful and curious ambivert, cat mom, casual gamer, and pluviophile. Professionally, I’m a marketing designer and project leader with more than eight years of experience telling brand stories through print and digital media.

I utilize design and collaborative tools to contribute art direction and design support, specializing in brand development, presentation design, and creative marketing strategy using typography, color, image, and illustration. The structure, number of folds or clicks, paper texture, and psychology of color can foster a connection with an audience, playing a role in every brand story. I prefer to lead from the middle, building relationships and maximizing team members’ strengths to pull together and accomplish a goal. As a recent MBA grad, I have practical insight into team management and business strategy which I apply to project investigation and leadership.

In my free time, theme parks, dogs, animated films, Playstation, and psychology are a few of my favorite things. As of late, you might find me speed-walking through my neighborhood, doodling on my couch, rewatching Adventure Time, fiddling with Spline 3D design, or web-slinging Roxxon goons in Spider-Man: Myles Morales.
