Need
Pepperdine Magazine is a flagship triannual publication written and designed within Pepperdine’s internal marketing department. Articles tell stories about members of Pepperdine’s growing community of students, faculty, staff, donors, and alumni.
Process
Communication and design teams meet to discuss each article’s themes. As editorial content is complete, individual articles are assigned to a designer to develop the visual story.
Solution
Color, type, imagery, and illustration convey the core essence of each story. Custom letterforms are often created for article titles and textures are applied to photos to match unique story themes.
